VANS ARE FOR VALENTINES
Looking to capitalize on the success of previous gift guides, Vans' digital marketing and ecommerce team wanted to expand the campaign for its collection of Valentines Day product beyond the ecommerce photography and video that was provided. I helped concept and implement design treatments and messaging that made its way across web and email.

POSTED WITH LOVE
Creating a look and feel for a skate brand that's celebrating Valentines Day meant adding some edge to a moment that celebrates romanticism and lovey-dovey feelings. I liked the idea of exploring love letters, but I really gravitated towards the aspect of postage stamps - something that's been hand-stamped and worn down by sorting machines and mail carriers as it makes its way to the recipient. I decided to recreate that approach, but as a digital mail carrier with bitmap textures, stamps, cutouts and our own Vans postage markings.
